I cannot wait to leave my job.
I intend to leave at the end of August, or maybe the first week in September.
I would love to just leave now, and enjoy the summer with my friends before I leave for university, but I can't afford to.
It is getting more unbearable by the day in that hell hole.
It is getting me down so badly, and I'm just miserable.
I don't want to do anything creative, it's not even 'creative block', it's simply no desire to do anything, and the only reason I can think of for this is because of my stupid effing job.
No matter how early I go to bed, how much sleep I get, how hard I try to eat healthily and drink lots of water, I am still constantly exhausted, with headaches and lethargy making me one dull person.
Aside from waiting it out until the end of the summer, what can I do?
I can't bear another two+ months of this.

Life is good.
Leicester was amazing.
The university was brilliant, both L and I were highly impressed. I'm definitely going there in September, and L plans to apply for 2010 entry.
We had an awesome time while we were in the city... and I'll leave it at that!
The weather has been so good recently, and it's seriously improved my mood. L and I were at the beach yesterday evening, and it was so lovely. I'm just back from a different beach, L and some of her friends drove up to my end of the country and we went to my local beach. I got soaked, and it was freezing, but it was all good fun.
It really feels like summer, I've been wearing my board shorts and t-shirts, sitting outside in the evenings, and just generally been happy. I even had a good day at work today - when has that ever happened before?!
I don't want to jinx it, but life is good right now.

I'm leaving in about an hour to go to Leicester with my girlfriend.
The faculty open day at the university is tomorrow, and it has to be said, I am very nervous.
I cannot talk to people I don't know, I hate having to go into places I don't know, and having to ask people for help. This is not a pride thing, it's because I am so nervous and assume everyone is judging me and hates me.
Once the open day is over, I will relax, and the shopping/drinking/being a menace to Leicester will begin!

Living in N.I.
For years, I've done a lot of complaining about living in Northern Ireland, and how crap it is, nothing to do, weather sucks, etc.
But lately, I've started to love it here (just when I'm planning to leave, typical!).
People living in NI, some advice I have to offer after the weekend...
Fill up your tank with fuel, get a good mix CD on (or a girlfriend to operate the iTrip), drive, eat, laugh, stop at intervals, take photos.
Enjoy living here, because it really has a lot to offer. I have been to pretty much all of the 'famous sights' with my family, but hated it because I was a grumpy teenager who wanted to spend the school holidays with her friends. Going to these places because I actually want to, with someone I love is a completely different experience.
Next stop - Giant's Causeway.

- Visit Belfast Zoo
- Do not visit Exploris

Found.
I was pretty low today as I was supposed to be seeing my girlfriend after work, but it didn't work out.
I drove home feeling crap, but this was waiting for me...

I'd forgotten I'd ordered it!
Tip: if you're ever feeling sad, low, depressed, or whatever, treat yourself to something you've had your eye on for a while. I've wanted this for a long time, and got it for a bargain price on eBay.
Although it doesn't beat being with my girlfriend, it cheered me up :)

I have just confirmed with UCAS that I am going to a university in the east midlands of England.
Oh My God.
This is a big deal for me.
I'm leaving my job (although I haven't told my manager yet) and moving to a different country.
L and I are flying over at the end of May to go to the uni's open day, and for other fun things, like the casino right beside our hotel, shopping, and the Space Science Museum. And drinking, of course.
