My Christmas List.

I'm not a fan of Christmas, you could even say I hate it. Would it not be nicer to give/receive a meaningful, hand-picked (or even better, hand-made) gift unexpectedly during the year?

I have never made a Christmas list before.
But I decided to make one, even though I haven't asked for any of these things (I don't ask for anything) and won't get any of them. Christmas isn't about getting gifts, there's something terribly greedy and selfish about asking for specific gifts. These are just things I want. I know I'm coming across as very hypocritical by doing this, but I've spent the day awfully bored, not at work because I'm sick, and I'm trying to cheer myself up.
I dream of the year someone (someone special?) gives me one single special thing that I'd really love, without me ever saying I want it.
I'm a romantic at heart, and I'm just romanticising about situations in which I'd receive such things as these...

My favourite author right now, I got two of his other books for my birthday in October, but cannot afford to buy any for myself. I have a complete love affair with reading.



I imagine this book to be somewhat similar to the PostSecret books, which I adore. I own two of the PS books, and want the others.




Another book along the same lines. Compiled of Polaroids found in random places, alongside a description of where they were found, etc.




Again, very similar idea. Photobooth photos printed on postcards.



I just love them.



Okay, I don't really expect to get this as a gift, but damn, would I love to own one of these!
